Have a great day!
Guess what? I just graduated from University. Well, Sticky U anyways! Ha, ha. I was invited to participate in this fun campaign by Tombow. You can check all the amazing projects by clicking HERE. There is a great variety to enjoy.
Here is proof that I am part of the stickiest school around. The new Xtreme Adhesive is pretty amazing stuff. Once I got the hang of the swipe and flick method I was really impressed with the sticky power. I was anxious to try it on this new Fun Stamper’s Journey card cover because it has so many little die cut pieces. It drives me batty if those pieces are loose.
So, here is my finished project. I created it as a card (man, that adhesive even holds the ribbon exactly in place), but I am now thinking that I will throw this into a frame. Would that be cute, or what?
Thanks for taking a peek! And, you can send me a graduation card if you want to. Hee.
NO, it cannot possibly be the last Wednesday in September. Cannot. Be.
Ha, ha. But, yes it is. Summer has flown by. The first day of fall is behind us and even here in Arizona we are getting glimpses of cooler weather. Fun! And, today really is a fun day, too. It is time for the (Paper Crafts and Scrapbooking) Go to Gals and our designer playdate. We get together in our virtual world once a month, just for fun!
Today we are playing with products from the adorable stamp company of Winnie and Walter! Not only is their website fresh and clean but their offering of stamps and die cutting files is trendy and on topic. I was super excited to receive several sets to play with.
Here is the card I created with the Scenery Big Bang Confetti (such a cute name) and the way amazing Iwillusethisonealot sentiment set The Big the Bold and You. As you can see, I stamped the confetti background with Versamark and heat embossed with clear powder. Then, I layered about every pink ink pad I own to create the background. I love that it is not stamped perfectly. It is perfectly imperfect, right?
I am off to pay a visit to my amazing cousin Deb today. She just had DOUBLE knee replacement surgery last week. This card goes to her because she is strong and will knock this recovery flat. Go, Deb!
Please check out all the other Go to Gals and see what they have come up with for the challenge this month. I am excited to see if anyone used the fun digital files from Winnie and Walter.
